I am a Chartered Quantity Surveyor with over 15 years of experience working in Ireland, Australia and throughout the USA. I have worked in a variety of sectors ranging from health and hospitals to residential projects, data centers, airports, rail and retail, ground up, core and shell, fitouts and education. I pride myself on client savings from change management and have achieved major successes in negotiations resulting in multi million dollar savings for the client. I also have experience in delivering very detailed estimates as well as full cost management services on large-scale construction projects and the development of budgets with consideration to the capital expenditure and funding sources within a global organization.

Over the past 8 years of working for a leading Main Contractor in the UK construction industry I have gained key technical and commercial experience on delivery of new build and refurbishment construction projects. I am a consistent and reliable individual, with high organisational and practical skills. My aim is to provide clients a high level of service using my experience and understanding of construction.

With 14 years experience in the construction industry, I have worked on several marquee projects across a number of sectors including aviation, corporate real estate, infrastructure and transport. The fast paced nature of the built environment often requires that I am seconded into the client’s project team to provide cost and contract management support. With over 6 years of experience in the construction industry as a Senior Cost manager, I have had the pleasure of working across a vast number of sectors such as education, retail and office fit outs that range from $1M to $2B. Since moving to NYC in 2020, I have had the privilege of working for a leading global financial company delivering projects through its financial closeouts. Over my career I have gained a well-rounded experience from estimating, procurement, post contract and financial closeout, allowing me to benefit the client despite the stage of construction they are in.

After graduating from Northeastern University with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, I launched my construction career in Los Angeles, managing aviation and sports arena projects. With a passion for process improvement and utilizing new technology, I pride myself on being a driven and valued team member. With over 3 years of experience on major projects throughout the US, Canada and South East Asia, I’ve had the opportunity to work with a number of public and private sector clients. I have worked on projects in infrastructure, aviation, deep underground mining, tunneling, buildings, science technology and healthcare sector. Each sector and market has its own trends and challenges, but no matter what we’re working on or where the project is, my aim is to make sure complexity is managed and our clients’ goals are met. My educational background, technical experience and innovative spirit coupled with cross-disciplinary collaboration enable me to deliver high-quality work while maintaining the core objective of shaping a better world.

This interest led me to taking additional classes at NYU focused on Construction Management. Since joining Turton Bond I have had the opportunity to work on leading NYC construction projects. I graduated from the Rutgers University Business School with a Bachelor of Science in Finance and a concentration in Real Estate. I bring 2 years of experience in project delivery for a global consultancy business serving clients in corporate real estate. This experience, along with my attention to detail and strong communication skills, has enabled me to drive quality control while building meaningful client relationships. I strive to deliver exceptional project support for the Turton Bond team.

I am an ambitious and energetic cost manager who has a successful track record when delivering landmark projects with extensive experience in education, retail, office fit-out and residential sector projects to date. I have integrated into multidisciplinary design teams who have delivered projects valued from €3m to €500m+. I have a keen interest in sustainability and data center development.

In 2020 I graduated from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Marketing. With Turton Bond, I will be pursuing my interests in analytics and cost data, which I gleaned during my University tenure; this will be done through the variety of construction specific courses staff are offered. These courses, coupled with the day to day involvement and training on a number of high profile projects across a broad range of sectors, will stand me in good stead to develop my career within the ever evolving construction industry over the coming years.
